Infrastructure decisions shape access, movement, work and opportunity for generations. The people making those decisions should reflect the breadth of the societies affected by them. Representation is therefore not peripheral to infrastructure leadership; it influences the quality of judgment around the table.
The goal is not simply to add more voices. It is to build stronger institutions and better-informed projects through a wider range of professional experience.
